「ART LOUNGE PROJECT #6：NOT QUITE HERE, NOT QUITE THERE」は、現代日本のアーティストたちによるグループ展です。

『ノット・クワイト・ヒア、ノット・クワイト・ゼア（Not Quite Here, Not Quite There）』は、創造の中間にある曖昧で流動的な空間を探る展覧会です。確かな答えに頼るのではなく、アーティストは内なる探求心に導かれながら、まだ形になりきらない何かを求めて歩み続けます。「ここ」でも「そこ」でもない——けれど、たしかに何かへと向かっている。

参加アーティストは、菅野歩美、品川美香、白石効栽、寺尾瑠生、藤本純輝、八嶋洋平、安田知司の7名。絵画、コラージュ、映像といった二次元の作品を通して、それぞれが「何かを掴み取ろうとする」創作のプロセスを静かに浮かび上がらせます。そこには、場所や気配、記憶、感情といった目に見えないものを形にしようとする試みが宿っています。

この展覧会で示されるのは、完成や到達点ではなく、その先を目指す「動き」そのもの。全てが言葉になるわけではない世界の輪郭に、私たちの視線と感覚がそっと触れる機会となるでしょう。

“ART LOUNGE PROJECT #6: NOT QUITE HERE, NOT QUITE THERE” is a group exhibition featuring contemporary Japanese artists.

“Not Quite Here, Not Quite There” explores the ambiguous and fluid space that lies between creative departure and arrival. Rather than seeking clear answers, the artists are guided by an inner drive, continuing their search for something that has yet to fully take form. It is neither “here” nor “there” — yet there is a definite sense of movement toward something.

The exhibition brings together seven artists: Ayumi Kanno, Mika Shinagawa, Kousai Shiraishi, Rui Terao, Atsuki Fujimoto, Yohei Yashima, and Tomoshi Yasuda. Through paintings, collages, and video works, each of them quietly reveals the process of reaching for something intangible. Their works attempt to give shape to what cannot be seen — place, presence, memory, emotion.

What emerges in this exhibition is not a sense of completion or arrival, but the motion that carries us forward. It offers viewers the chance to brush against the outlines of a world that cannot be fully captured in words.
