脳内のイメージ断片を一つ一つ和紙に出力し、細密に裁断して織り込む。無作為性とも言える膨大な手作業と精神性が混ざり合い、一回性の付与を通して新たな表現領域が広がる。コレクターから高い支持を得ている。

■制作コンセプト
幼少期から精神安定の為に続けていたコラージュを軸として新たな視点で制作している。主に古典絵画や既存の写真、自身が撮影した写真などを和紙に出力し、カッターと定規で裁断し、編み込み再構築する手法を用いる。その際、和紙は手の汗や吐息の湿気と混ざりあい、途方も無い時間を共にする事で自身の複製体となる。過去のモチーフと現在の自分自身が混ざり合う事によるオリジナリティの所在について考えている。

  • Fragments of mental imagery are individually output onto washi paper, meticulously cut, and woven together. A vast amount of manual labor—almost random in nature—intertwines with spiritual concentration, and through the attribution of irreproducible, one-time actions, a new field of expression emerges. This distinctive approach has received strong support from collectors.

    ■Concept

    The artist’s practice is rooted in collage, a method she has continued since childhood as a means of mental stabilization, now reexamined from a new perspective. Classical paintings, existing photographs, and photographs taken by the artist herself are printed onto washi paper, then cut using a cutter and ruler and reconstructed through a process of weaving. During this process, the washi paper absorbs the moisture of the artist’s hands and breath, and through the sharing of an immense amount of time, it becomes a kind of duplicate of the artist herself. She explores the locus of originality that emerges when motifs from the past merge with her present self.
