膠や岩絵具という日本画の伝統的な画材を用いて、「記憶」と「忘却」を「描く」と「消す、あるいは描き直す」を繰り返すことで筆致、記憶と風景を結びつけ、自身や他者がもつ多面的な「記憶の正しさ」を表現している。
