四川美術学院工芸学部陶磁専攻卒業。現在は北京を拠点に活動。

中国の幻想的ビジュアル表現を代表するイラストレーター、アーティストの一人として知られ、東洋的神秘主義を背景に、神話、生命、変容、再生といった主題を描き続けている。幻想性と装飾性を併せ持つ独自のビジュアル表現により、現代中国イラストレーションの中でも強い存在感を確立している。

作品集『幻戏』『白蛇传』『水仙』『妖绘卷』を刊行。映画『妖猫伝』『大魚海棠』『捉妖記2』などのビジュアル制作・ポスター制作にも携わり、出版、映画、ビジュアルアートの領域を横断して活動している。北京を中心とする中国のイラストレーション／アートシーンでも高い注目を集め、国内外で発表を重ねている。

その作品には、人間、神性、動物性を併せ持つ象徴的な存在がしばしば描かれ、種や存在の境界を超えるイメージが展開される。幻想的な図像を通じて、個人、種、そしてあらゆる生命を結びつける原初的で親密なつながりを呼び起こし、東洋的想像力と現代性が交差する独自の世界観を築いている。

Graduated from the Department of Ceramics at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Currently based in Beijing.

Known as one of the leading illustrators and artists representing China’s fantastical visual culture, the artist continues to explore themes such as mythology, life, transformation, and rebirth, rooted in Eastern mysticism. Through a distinctive visual language that combines fantasy and ornamentation, the artist has established a strong presence within contemporary Chinese illustration.

Published works include the art books *Phantom Play*, *Legend of the White Snake*, *Narcissus*, and *Scroll of Yokai Paintings*. The artist has also contributed to visual and poster production for films such as *Legend of the Demon Cat*, *Big Fish & Begonia*, and *Monster Hunt 2*, working across the fields of publishing, cinema, and visual art. Centered in Beijing, the artist has attracted significant attention within China’s illustration and contemporary art scenes, presenting works both domestically and internationally.

The works frequently depict symbolic beings that embody humanity, divinity, and animality simultaneously, unfolding imagery that transcends the boundaries between species and states of existence. Through fantastical iconography, the artist evokes primordial and intimate connections linking individuals, species, and all forms of life, constructing a unique worldview where Eastern imagination intersects with contemporary sensibilities.
