太古の昔から人々は祈りと共にありました。
他者を想い、平和や安寧を願い、自然への感謝を伝える行為でもあります。
目には見えないものへの畏敬の念は、世界中で様々な形で表現されており、その姿は国や宗教で違いはあれど、人間の尊い普遍的な思いの一つです。
それは太古から人々により大切に守られ、磨かれ、文化や風習として現代の私たちに残されてきたものです。
そうして紡がれてきた民族衣装や祭礼、伝承など昨今消えつつある美しいもの達を残していきたい、忘れたくないという思いがあります。
作品の子供達は私の心の中の神様たちです。
国や宗教、人種、性別などあらゆる垣根を取り払い、世界中の民族衣装を組み合わせ、平和を願う一つの美しい祈りの世界を表現していきたいと思っています。

Concept
Since ancient times, people have lived with prayer.
Prayer is also an act of thinking of others, wishing for peace and well-being, and expressing gratitude toward nature.
A reverence for the unseen is expressed in various forms throughout the world. Although its outward appearance differs according to country and religion, it represents one of the precious and universal sentiments shared by humankind.
From ancient times, this spirit has been carefully protected and refined by people, and has been handed down to us today in the form of culture and customs.
I wish to preserve and remember the beautiful things that have been woven through this history—such as traditional costumes, festivals, and folklore—which are gradually disappearing in recent times.
The children depicted in my works are the gods within my heart.
By removing all barriers—such as those of country, religion, race, and gender—and combining traditional costumes from around the world, I seek to express one beautiful world of prayer that wishes for peace.
