LE METTÉ GALLERY広島
「LE METTÉ GALLERY」は、創立者であるルメテ アデリンが2013年に芸術留学のためフランスから来日し、第二の故郷として2020年に広島に設立したギャラリーです。国内外の作家を紹介し、日本と海外のあいだでアートの交流をつくるギャラリーを目指しています。
現在、広島と岡山に拠点を構える新世代のギャラリーとして、これまでとは異なるアプローチで作家の発見と発信を模索しています。将来的には海外でのギャラリー設立も視野に入れ、日本の芸術文化をさらに活発にすることを目指しています。フランス、中国、香港、台湾の画廊とつながりを持ち、さまざまな展示企画を行っています。
LE METTÉ GALLERY was founded in Hiroshima in 2020 by Adeline Le Metté, who came to Japan from France in 2013 to study art and made the city her second home. The gallery presents artists from Japan and abroad and aims to be an active player in international art exchange.
Now based in Hiroshima and Okayama, it is a new generation gallery looking for other ways to discover and present artists. With a gallery abroad in view, it aims to make Japanese art and culture even more vibrant, and works on exhibition projects with galleries in France, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
LE METTÉ ADELINE ART LOUNGE岡山
2022年、岡山市中心部の杜の街プラザにパブリックアートラウンジをオープンしました。名和晃平氏がディレクターを務めるSandwichとともに、ラウンジのデザインとアートディレクションを行っています。
In 2022 we opened a public art lounge in Morinomachi Plaza, in the centre of Okayama. Its design and art direction are carried out together with Sandwich, directed by Kohei Nawa.

フランス出身。2013年に来日。2020年に広島で LE METTÉ GALLERY を設立し、2022年には岡山・杜の街プラザにパブリックアートラウンジを開設。現在は広島と岡山の二拠点を運営しながら、東京の百貨店（GINZA SIX、大丸東京店）での企画展のキュレーション、香港や台北のギャラリー、アートフェアとの協働を通じて、日本と海外の作家、作品、人が行き交う場をつくっている。デザインの分野での経験も持つ。
Born in France, Adeline Le Metté came to Japan in 2013. She founded LE METTÉ GALLERY in Hiroshima in 2020 and opened a public art lounge in Morinomachi Plaza, Okayama, in 2022. Running both spaces today, she curates exhibitions in Tokyo department stores, at GINZA SIX and Daimaru Tokyo, and works with galleries and art fairs in Hong Kong and Taipei, creating places where artists, works and people from Japan and abroad meet. She also has a background in design.
